Student, faculty, and campus security is of utmost importance to all of the stakeholders of Madison Creative Arts Academy. With this in mind, it was reported to the office that a conversation was overheard in which a student discussed bringing contraband to school. The contraband was not identified specifically. Pursuant to both school and district policy, an investigation was launched including a search as well as student and faculty interviews. No contraband was found at the school. Later more specific information was reported. As a result, the Madison County Sheriff’s Office took lead of the investigation at that time. Because this is an ongoing investigation involving minors, questions should be directed to the Madison County Sheriff's Department. Thank you for your cooperation.
